What is the ZipClip Difference?
ZipClip doesn’t require integration or implementation from any carrier or device manufacturer. It is a direct to consumer application you can use today if you are a subscriber of a carrier that allows application downloads (which, in the U.S., are at&t and Sprint).
Using ZipClip is free and pretty near effortless. Back in the “old days” to get cool stuff to your phone you had two choices: pay or go through a lot of pain.
We heard you say that paying for ringtones, wallpapers, etc. was sometimes ok, but you were frustrated by the limited selection.
If you didn’t want to pay or wanted access to different content, it was pretty painful. Your choices were:
- Attach content to an email message, send it to yourself, and then open the email from your phone
- Attach the URL link of the web page in an SMS message and send the whole page (and try to browse it) from your phone
- Save the content to your computer and use a cable or Bluetooth to download it to your phone.
All of this hassle goes away with ZipClip. Clip and send what you want to your phone and share it with others as you like.
